SanTerenzo & Lerici [edited]

Got back from 5 Terre: awesome day! Can't wait to post all the pics I've shot, but got to wait till tomorrow (well... few hours considering it's over midnight here). Adapting, cropping and resizing took a huge amount of time.
Here are some postcards from two of my fav places in Liguria.

Lerici by night

(this last needs to be re-shot. I can do loads better with a tripod and a better positioning. Also the white castle must stay on the right side of the photo)

Ok. Here is the latest shot from Lerici (SP). I think this time I did a fair good job, both shooting and post-processing. The picture was a little overexposed because I needed to compensate the noise correction.

some garden's flowers

I know these don't look interesting, but as I told you I'm still in testing phase. Tomorrow I'm taking the camera to 5 Terre and I need to warm it up.
Long the wait enjoy yourself with some of my garden's flowers...

Sandisk microSD 2GB and Crumpler bags

I finally got the card. This still needs some testing, but I got the clear impression that the camera doubled shooting speed. I'll test further with continuous shooting.

---------------------------

I already ordered the next item: a camera bug. I didn't want one screaming: "hello, I'm a camera bag", stereotypically black and boxy. With a quick internet search - something I'm really good at - I came up with an interesting site: Crumpler products. In the end I bought the Crumpler PB 380 XS (30€ plus delivery). Please never ask what PB stands for...

I also discovered an interesting site with plenty of cool, funky, or unique camera bags. Give it a try if you are looking for a birthday tips: link

Sunset paradise

No posts today: too busy with studying and the spare time is dedicated to the testing of the Canon. I leave you with a little souvenir, in hope it's of your liking.
The pictures were shot a few minutes ago in a 300m radius from home. I couldn't claim my fav so I posted both. I'll gather the one you privilege from Flickr stats.

My Canon

As I wrote a few days ago (link) I am now owner of a new cool camera.
The weather today is cloudy and the microSD somewhere between UK and Italy which means I'm stuck with the (slow) SD 32MB furnished with the camera. I decided to take some shots anyway because... damn: what would you do in my place? The pics are hosted on ZoomR because Flickr has a limited monthly space I wish to preserve for the coming weekend.

A day on Montemarcello (SP) - Italy

Awesome day. I just got back from the sea... and what a sea! Admire the beach of Punta Bianca, near the village of Montemarcello (SP). The pictures are geo-tagged on Flickr so you can check the exact location on a map. Really a shame my new camera didn't come on time for this special day: the pictures shot with Olympus really cannot express the beauty of the place.

Giornata fantastica oggi.

Punta Bianca - Montemarcello

The last pic was shot on the top of the hill (Monte Marcello). On the right there is La Spezia and you can also see 3 islands: Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto.

Montemarcello - Bellavista

I couldn't post other images both because they were absolutely low quality and they showed some of my friends who I don't would like appearing in the blog.
By the way: if you liked these pics just wait until I get my hands on the new camera and I take it to 5 Terre...
If you want to know what 5 Terre is just check it here or just wait for one of the coming posts. You'll be delighted!
